14/08/2019

Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School (PLK CKY) is the first through train, non- profit quality private independent school in Hong Kong. Established in 2002, the school offers a 12–year bilingual (English and Chinese) education programme with adaptation of a school-based curriculum from Y1-8 and a preparatory programme for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) in Year 9 and 10. PLK CKY students in Y11 and 12 study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in preparation for their university admissions.

PLK CKY promotes a love of knowledge and critical thinking through inquiry and activity based learning. In addition to perusing academic excellence, we strive to develop students into knowledgeable, righteous and responsible individuals who are global minded and independent life-long learners are motivated to contribute to the local and international communities.

It has been another outstanding year for IGCSE pupils at PLK CKY. Our percentage of A*-A grades is 67.8%, including 34.1% A* grades.  95.5% of our grades this year are A*-C.

Out of 128 students 83 of them, who attained 6As or more, have been presented a Po Leung Kuk Scholarship.
