Find Joy in the Ordinary

Welcome to the start of the 2025–2026 academic year! As the new term begins, I am truly excited to greet our teachers, students, and families on campus. I look forward to walking the halls, hearing your stories, exchanging ideas, and working together to make CKY a better place for teaching and learning.

CKY is a bilingual school committed to excellence in both Chinese and English. We believe that every child is good at something — and our mission is to help each student discover and grow their unique talents. Through a balanced curriculum, rich extracurricular opportunities, and a strong focus on character development, we nurture not just academic ability, but also kindness, resilience, and confidence.

This year’s theme is “Find Joy in the Ordinary” — a reminder that happiness isn’t always found in big moments, but often in the quiet, everyday experiences:

We encourage our students to see the world through a new lens — to find wonder in nature, in small moments of kindness, in the process of learning, and in the simple pleasure of trying something new. Just like opening a blind box, every day holds a surprise — and the joy is in discovering it.

As a school community, we are proud to offer diverse pathways for growth — from academic challenges and arts performances, to leadership roles and service projects. We believe that every student has a gift to share, and our role is to help them shine.
