蔡繼有學校新華基金會警務人員子女教育基金 Choi Kai Yau School Sun Wah Education Fund for Families in the HKSAR Police Force

As you are aware, Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School strives to promote an all-round education and nurture students’ multiple intelligences.

We are pleased to announce that with the transfer of HK$100,000 from the Choi Kai Yau School Sun Wah Education Fund for Holistic Development, our Choi Kai Yau School Sun Wah Education Fund for Families in the HKSAR Police Force is now in operation for students whose parents work in the police force.

To strengthen students’ holistic development, the Fund will be utilized to subsidize fees for instrument classes. In the academic year 2015-16, 46 students were awarded a subsidy, totaling HK$91,080. This year, we will continue to offer financial assistance to students who wish to learn a musical instrument. Therefore, students who are joining the 2016-17 instrument classes and whose parents are in the police force are eligible to apply for a fee subsidy. The amount and format of the subsidy will depend on the total number of applications.

Application forms can be downloaded from the school website. Completed application forms and supporting documents should be submitted to the school office in person by 30th September, 2016. All applications will be assessed by the Education Fund Management Committee, and results will be announced in November, 2016.

 

蔡繼有學校乃保良局一條龍非牟利優質私校,自開辦以來,學校積極推行全人教育,栽培及鼓勵學生多方面的興趣和發展他們的才能。本校獲捐款人蔡繼有先生家族捐款支持成立教育基金,按捐款人意願,為感激警務人員對社會貢獻,特撥款十萬元用以資助現職警務人員子女參與本校的各項活動。

上學度共有46名在本校就讀的警務人員子女獲資助樂器班學費共HK$91,080.00元。今年本校擬繼續資助就讀的警務人員子女樂器班學費。所有於2016-17學年參與本校樂器班的警務人員子女均合資格申請,本校將視乎申請人數決定資助形式及金額。申請表格可於本校網頁下載,申請表格及所需文件須於2016年9月30日或之前遞交,由校方及基金管理委員會審核,申請結果將於2016年11月份公佈。
