PLK CKY IGCSE Results 2024

Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School (PLK CKY) is the first through train, non-profit quality private independent school in Hong Kong. Established in 2002, the school offers a 12–year bilingual (English and Chinese) education with a school-based curriculum from Years 1-8 and a wide-ranging programme for the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) in Years 9 and 10. PLK CKY students in Years 11 and 12 study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in preparation for their university admissions.

PLK CKY promotes a love of knowledge and critical thinking through inquiry and activity based learning. In addition to pursuing academic excellence, we strive to develop students into knowledgeable, righteous and responsible individuals. We endeavour to nurture globally minded and independent life-long learners who are motivated to contribute to the local and international communities.

PLK CKY students have continued to achieve remarkable IGCSE results in the June 2024 series. Eleven students attained straight A/A* grades across all 11 or 12 of their subjects. The percentage of A* grades awarded to our students is 37%. Our percentage of A-A* grades is 70%, and 96% of our grades this year are C-A*. Out of 100 students, 72 of them who attained 6As or above, will receive a Po Leung Kuk Scholarship.
